Swishboom is an app that safely connects parents and sitters through their trusted networks. Since there are two target audiences for this app – Millennial parents and Gen Z sitters – Swishboom needed an illustration style to use within the app, on social media, and throughout brand communications that appealed to both audiences.

 

Okra African Grill is a fast-casual restaurant offering traditional African dishes and modern African-fusion rice bowls. Good Bear has been a partner to Okra since Okra was just an idea. Good Bear created their brand identity from the ground up and has been its ongoing creative and marketing partner since it opened its doors in March of 2020.


Whiteny’s Test Kitchen is a taste of tradition, fundamentals, and fun. To Whitney Hoskins, cooking is so much more than an act of survival. Growing up in Kentucky at the farm, it’s a practice she shares with her mother, her grandmother, her aunts, and her cousins. She now shares her passion for cooking with her husband and friends.

Whitney’s namesake blog, Whitney’s Test Kitchen, features food recipes, cocktail recipes, kitchen basics, cooking techniques, and a dash of history, all peppered with her southern charm and deep understanding of the basics. Entertaining is a shared experience, and whitneystestkitchen.com provides a familiar feeling of hospitality and celebration.

 Good Bear Creative created a logo and visual guide for Whitney’s Test Kitchen that has a sense of ladylike southern etiquette while inviting you to pull up a seat and taste the cookie batter.


The Rose Theater is a performing arts center and theater group for children and families in Omaha. Their largest annual fundraiser is Rockin’ Rosie. Each year “Rosie” rocks a different theme where attendees let out their inner performer by dressing up and cutting loose. Good Bear has proudly partnered with The Rose Theater Guild to support this event for three years. While 2021 was canceled due to Covid-19, Good Bear still helped make their giving campaign shine through custom illustrated printed and digital materials.


Regency Lawn, Inc. is a family-owned lawn care business in Omaha, Nebraska serving the Regency neighborhood for over 25 years. Their clients take pride in their homes and their lawns. Regency Lawn, Inc. provides high-quality service and care that keeps clients loyal and their lawns beautiful for years.

Good Bear took Regency Lawn’s existing logo and refined its brand, aligned its print and digital marketing materials, and provided creative strategy for the future of the company.


Hapa is a premium, custom ‘ukulele company, handcrafted by a Hawaiian musician and Midwestern luthier. Honoring a favorite beach, a family garden in Hawaii, and the intricate handiwork of each instrument, their identity includes hand-drawn plumeria blossoms and wavy custom lettering.


The JLO Classic is a fundraising event supporting the efforts of the Junior League of Omaha. Good Bear created a visual identity for the event. The Junior League of Omaha is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.


Lancaster County Health Department is the local government health agency for Lincoln, Nebraska (home of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln) and its surrounding areas. In the summer of 2020, despite CDC guidelines, college students and young people were continuing to go out without following rules surrounding pandemic safety. These video frames were part of a campaign by MediaSpark that geo-targeted bars and hotspots, encouraging young people to make safety sexy.
